Building work commences in 2012

The New Year brings with it the start of the redevelopment of our Ashgate Road property.  For many years, we have operated in Chesterfield from three main buildings:  Two have been situated on Fairfield Road incorporating our Accounts, Taxation and Administration departments with Shorts Financial Services and our payroll department being located just round the corner on Ashgate Road.

It has been the aim of the partners for a number of years to consolidate the firm onto one site and we are pleased be able to confirm that work on Ashgate Road is due to commence shortly. Construction is scheduled to take much of this year and we would hope to be moving into our new offices towards the end of 2012. We will of course keep you updated of progress throughout the year.

Our payroll department and Shorts Financial Services have therefore re-located to  temporary office accommodation  but can continue to be contacted on the usual telephone numbers (Shorts Payroll: 01246 520339; Shorts Financial Services:01246 559955). Any post should be addressed as normal.  During the building work we are fully open for business and our aim is to ensure that client service is unaffected. 

This is the start of an exciting and challenging year for the firm.  As the largest and longest established independent accountants and financial advisers in the Chesterfield area we believe that this is an important opportunity to be able to invest in the future and show our confidence in the local business community in what are obviously challenging times.
